Technetix, the leading provider of critical products and solutions for broadband cable network operators, has recently been awarded a three year contract to supply both technical and non-technical products for Virgin Media throughout the UK.
Francois Giraud-Sauveur, VP Sales at Technetix said: “Technetix has been a long term, key supplier to Virgin Media. Our new preferred supplier contract will offer an increased range of products manufactured by Technetix complemented by products from other approved suppliers. All benefit from our proven value added services such as stringent testing facilities.”
Under the new contract, Technetix uses the principles of vendor managed inventory to supply products with a secure online portal giving Virgin Media full visibility of its inventory levels within the Technetix supply chain.
Amar Treon, Director of Procurement at Virgin Media said: “The service we receive from Technetix helps Virgin Media streamline its supply chain and logistics process while ensuring that stock is kept at sustainable and manageable levels. We chose Technetix because they can provide the right solution to Virgin Media and they also have a strong roadmap in place that will help us continue to maintain cost efficient operations.”
To complement the supply contract, Technetix has also developed an exciting range of new products to help support the improvements that Virgin Media has made and will continue to make to its network over the coming years.
