History

Technetix Burgess Hill

Technetix was incorporated in March 1990 by our CEO Paul Broadhurst and initially focused on both cable and satellite television equipment.  Quickly identifying the potential in the cable market, we soon demonstrated our key strength of providing the market with customer-led innovations for the customer install, access network and head end.

In 1996, Technetix grew rapidly and built up a reputation for providing a wide range of technical solutions with all the major UK cable network operators.

We complemented our product range in 2000 by acquiring Tele-Installs, a manufacturer and distributor of cable television installation products. This acquisition also expanded our outsourced Far East manufacturing footprint and provided a supply chain added value service to the existing manufacturing business.  During 2003 Technetix opened a sales office in Spain.

Veenendaal

In 2005, the acquisition of Tratec positioned Technetix as the leading manufacturer of network final mile products all across Europe. This acquisition provided us with a wide reaching European market and sales presence with additional offices in Poland, Denmark and France.

During 2006, Technetix completed the acquisition of Belgium based provider of head end and access network equipment, MTEC Broadband. This brought us the skillset to start servicing a broader range of requirements for the access network equipment market and to offer a repair and upgrade service to European cable operators.

We continued our international expansion through 2007 with the opening of a South East European sales office and warehouse in Pristina, Kosovo, to serve the Balkan region and a USA office in Denver, Colorado serving the United States and Canadian markets.

SpainOffice

Later in 2007, we completed our acquisition of Foentel Telecomunicaciones, the leading access and connected home supplier in Spain. This positioned Technetix as the leading supplier to the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

Technetix continued to develop. In 2011, we opened an office and warehouse facility in Ireland and appointed a Sales Director in Portugal to exploit extensive market opportunities in that region.

With a history of innovation and quality, we remain passionate about creating products that enable our customers to build and maintain advanced, reliable and cost-effective networks.

In 2012 Technetix further expanded its European local presence with the opening of a warehouse in Timisoara, Romania serving the Hungarian and Romanian markets.
